I have a friend who successfully installed a SuperTrapp on his LS650 Savage, but took it off because it was too loud. He sent it to me and I could not slip it all the way up on mine as to be able to put both muffler bolts into the muffler mount holes -perhaps due to a slight differences on the end of the header pipes. The message below is from the SuperTrapp folks on suggesting using a pipe expander to widen the SuperTrapp pipe just enough to ease it on up. Before I proceed..has anyone tried this over cutting the header pipe shorter as I have seen in previous postings or have any other thoughts on this?
Cheers,

Yes, go ahead with the pipe expander. That should fit without a problem.
Please keep me advised on your status. Thanks!
Thanks for visiting the SuperTrapp web site!
